At Gross Farms Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch, our motto says it all — "Family Farm, Family Fun!" When working in this fun environment, that includes all of our team members too! Every day is a new day helping our guests learn about agriculture all while having fun and making life long memories on the farm!
We're always looking for fun, self-motivated and energetic individuals who'd like to spend some time down on the farm—and get paid for it too! There are many different types of jobs on the farm, each having unique qualifications. Most of our team members are cross-trained to be able to work at the many activities on the farm. All team members should possess good communication skills, be able to answer questions and assist guests while visiting the farm.
We offer flexible schedules for students, retirees, part-time workers or just anyone qualified for the job who would like to earn some extra money. We expect employees to be responsible for submitting their availability, keeping track of their schedule and being on time.

POSITIONS
Admissions Staff
Often the first employees to interact with our customers, these team players must possess outgoing personalities, professional attitudes, have stellar customer service skills and the ability to multi-task. They should also be organized and excellent communicators in a fast-paced environment. Telephone skills are a plus.
Jump Pad Attendant
Jump Pad Attendants are responsible for managing and monitoring the operation of the large inflatable jumping pillow. In addition to monitoring admissions, attendants are responsible for daily inspection, setup and storage of equipment. Attendants are responsible for ensuring guests enter and enjoy the attraction in a safe manner as per prescribed procedures before each session. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Pumpkin Jump Attendant
Pumpkin Jump Attendants are responsible for managing and monitoring the operation of the large inflatable jumping pillow. In addition to monitoring admissions, attendants are responsible for ensuring guests enter and enjoy the attraction in a safe manner as per prescribed procedures before each session. Attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate mechanical ability is an absolute requirement for this position. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Concessions Staff
Concession areas require a wide range of food preparation, service and cleaning skills. The ability to multi-task in fast-paced confined spaces with attention to detail is an absolute requirement. Shifts start prior to business hours and often extend after closing. Must be team players with a track record of excellent customer service skills.
Maze Attendant
This position requires an outgoing personality and the ability to deliver concise instructions with enthusiasm to guests, individually or in groups, prior to their entrance into the maze. Maze Attendants will be responsible for checking admissions, patrolling the maze to maintain checkpoint stations, providing directions to guests as they attempt to navigate the corn maze and daily cleanup of the maze paths. Maze Attendants must be in great physical condition, be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. This position will require multi-tasking throughout the day in a fast paced environment. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills as well as the ability to address customer service issues in a professional manner. A valid NC driver's license is also required.
Slide Attendant
In addition to monitoring admissions, Slide Attendants are responsible for ensuring guests enter and exit the slide in a safe manner. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Hayride Attendants
Hayride Attendants are responsible for loading and unloading of the hay wagon and communicating safe riding procedures prior to accompanying passengers on the ride around the working farm. The attendant will maintain contact with the hayride driver and monitor each trip for any potential safety hazards.
Playground Attendants
Playground Attendants are responsible for managing multiple playgrounds. In addition to monitoring admissions, attendants are responsible for daily inspection, setup and storage of equipment and recognizing and reporting potential safety hazards. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Maintenance Staff
This position requires hands on maintenance of all equipment in operation. This multi-tasking individual must possess experience in the safe operation of power tools, excellent decision-making skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Responsibilities include but are not limited to equipment repair, traffic control and supply replenishment. This individual will assist in daily preparations before the business opens and must be able to stay to assist in closing at the end of day. A valid NC driver's license is required. Prior maintenance experience preferred.
